November and December

Merry Christmas to all! Well, its been a few months since my last posting... working full time and then spending every spare second with my little lady has kept me quite busy! We had big plans for this week before Christmas but of course Doug and I came down with a cold bug. Thank goodness it seems to have missed Elle! Please find below an assortment of photos from this holiday season. We have been truly loving life with our fun little Elle. She is hilarious! She absolutely loves to sneeze - it cracks her up, and she loves when mommy pretends to sneeze. Her Grandma and Grammie take great care of her while I work. However, I fear her Grandpa Mike may indeed lose his job as he can barely make it out the door when I drop her off Monday through Thursday - too cute! Doug plays guitar for her and she becomes fixated on his fingers. She loves to laugh and make Mommy dance in the mirror to an array of made up songs when her now emerging teeth become too much to handle. Who knew I was a lyricist? Teething is so painful and I now know the old "it hurts me more than it hurts you" is actually true. She is a trooper though and even smiles through the tears when we work hard to make her laugh despite the pain. I could go on forever but its Christmas Eve 'Eve' - so its time to bust out the egg nog and the movie 'Christmas Vacation' - cheers!

Our Little Elle - Weeks 3,4 & 5

Happy Fall! Elle is enjoying this season and all the fun times with Mommy, Daddy, Grandma Judy, Grandpa Mike, Grammie Dian and Far Far (Danish for Grandpa meaning Father's Father - Doug's dad). We've had fun visits from friends and family and many, many shopping trips. We are loving chai lattes, pumpkin spice candles, infant halloween costumes and holiday themed pajamas. Elle visited Daddy at work and will be visiting Mommy's office this week. Love and hugs to you all....
